Being an applied economist, Mr. Zaman is interested in building sustainable communities through science and technology development. Thus, his research focuses on disaster resilience, green finance, ICT, digital economy, etc.
Mr. Zaman currently teaches at the Bangladesh Army International University of Science and Technology. He has also worked as a researcher in several national and international research firms, including IPAG (Bangladesh) and EPSCoR (US). He regularly publishes articles in both national and international journals and daily newspapers. He was selected as one of the outstanding young researchers by the South-Central Climate Science Center, US, in 2014. Recently, he has been selected for "12th South Asian Training Program on CGE Modeling" with 100% Scholarship.
