Collecting water samples to test for heavy metals can be cumbersome but Emily Hanhauser of MIT is simplifying the process. Their research, initially supported by a J-WAFS seed grant has yielded the low-cost, wand-like SEPSTAT system which could enable widespread accessible water testing. Read more here.
